What is Hygiene inFusion?

North American Dental Group supports hygienists that are dedicated to transforming the dental experience and Hygiene inFusion was created to do just that. The goal of Hygiene inFUSION is to attract, elevate, and retain competent and caring hygienists through 12 weeks of self-guided virtual education, hands-on learning and regular feedback.

Whether the participating Hygienist is a new team member or has been with us for years, this program will enhance their ability to deliver best-in-class dental care to every patient, every visit.

The Objectives.

  • Communicate and carry out the tasks and duties the NADG way
  • Demonstrate best-in-class expertise within the expectations of NADG Master the oral and systemic health connection to successfully evaluate the patient’s stage of periodontal disease
  • Implement each step of the PDA Care Cycle
  • Reflect on their work to foster an “every patient-every visit” mentality
  • Collaborate effectively with their managers and peers to improve their emotional intelligence and approachability in order to demonstrate a healthy bravado

Though Hygiene inFusion is a self-guided course through our Ascend platform, the hygienist is supported by a group of team
members: the Office Manager, the Doctor, our Clinical Service Managers, as well as an assigned mentor. ​

Our dental hygiene team is at the heart of the patient-clinician relationship and they strive to
deliver the highest quality of care and a patient experience grounded in empathy.
